JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for driving the execution of IT Enterprise Application projects to enable transformation, growth, maturity and scale.
JOB DUTIES: Taking small to large, company-wide, mission critical programs/projects from ideation through final implementation and go-live; Helping to drive IT to work on the most important projects and programs for RingCentral, and guiding efforts towards on-time delivery, within scope, and within budget; Managing status reporting and metrics around the IT portfolio to leadership teams; Assessing performance, defining improvements, deploying process changes, and sustaining the longterm health of portfolio, project, and resource management processes; Ensuring adoption and implementation of project and program management methodology and overseeing project and program management coaching, including waterfall and Agile; Providing overall communication and interfaces with all areas affected by the program/project including cross-functional stakeholders, business sponsors and vendors; Driving prioritization of business requirements and roadmap; Partnering with both technical and non-technical peers to execute on work throughout the project lifecycle; Owning the program schedule and task assignments, and managing schedule progress - from large phases through to detailed tasks, including understanding and managing dependencies; Developing roadmaps and portfolio presentations and helping lead the development and continual refinement of portfolio, project, and resource (projects) management tools and services; Building strong partnerships with cross-functional departments (Product, Sales, Marketing, Services, HR, Finance, Legal); Working with all levels in the Organization and present and lead meetings with DirectorNPs/C-suite; Mentoring and working with high performing global Project Managers.
REQUIRED SKILLS/TOOLS: Experience with Workday, SaaS environments, Agile methodology, Waterfall methology, Cloud, AI/Machine Learning, enterprise applications, program management and project management is required.
QUALIFICATIONS: US Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or a related field, or foreign equivalent, plus two (2) years of related experience, or U.S. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience is required. Within the foregoing parameters, any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
