IT Support Specialist

We are looking to hire an IT Support Specialist who wants to be a part of a fast-paced startup working on all aspects of corporate technology operations. You will be responsible for supporting the IT environment. We live and breathe the startup culture and look to work with people who are committed to joining a fun but intense culture that strives to build the next great company. This role requires strong desire to learn quickly and take responsibility for mission-critical services.

Core Responsibilities

    • Support IT within the corporate environment, including but not limited to wired/wireless network, email, phones, laptops/desktops, data backups, and security
    • Setup and image corporate laptops
    • Manage inventory of software licenses and hardware assets
    • Triage and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
    • Manage and own Help Desk ticketing system
    • Provide A/V support for company-wide events
    • Create documentation for IT policies and end-user training
    • Own employee onboarding and offboarding process

What It Takes To Be Successful

    • Hands-on experience with setting up a LAN (local area networks) at home or in an office with a wireless router
    • High degree of comfort with laptops and desktops and installing software on Windows 7/10 & Mac OS
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in breaking down technical problems
    • Understanding the functional differences between CPU, memory, disk, and bandwidth
    • Familiarity with Active Directory, Exchange, or phone systems
    • Familiarity with ticketing systems, such as Zendesk (preferred)
    • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
    • 1-2 years of supporting a corporate environment
    • Bachelor's degree required
