The Role:

• Provide fast, courteous and knowledgeable front-end service to semiconductor Fab users.
• The successful candidate is a great communicator, quick learner with a customer-orientated mindset, and broad IT knowledge.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• work on a compressed work week schedule including night shift if needed.
• Service calls from both English and Mandarin speaking Fab users
• Troubleshoot issues, and identify fixes or workarounds
• Administer quick recovery procedures to minimize Fab impact
• Bridge 2nd line support personnel with fab users to find and implement fixes or workarounds
• Develop or review Standard Operational Procedure documents
• Track and follow-up on open cases to resolution
• Provide occasional support for business or office users when needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Flexibility to work on a compressed work week schedule including night shift if needed
• Associate degree or equivalent work experience
• Prior experience working on IT Helpdesk, or similar technical function is a plus
• Strong customer orientation and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Background in semiconductor industry is preferred, but not required
