The Principal Enterprise Account Director at Ivanti is a key leadership role focused on driving new business growth and customer expansion in California San Jose/Bay Region. About The Team

The North American Sales organization at Ivanti are building teams that understand the increasing complexity and sophisticated threats our enterprise customers face daily. Our mission is to adapt and anticipate the disparate needs of the modern workforce to automate the tasks that discover, manage, secure, and service all IT assets.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Drive revenue growth by selling Ivanti solutions directly and through partners in the California San Jose/Bay Region.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to identify and nurture new business opportunities.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting to achieve a quota of $2.35 million.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement effective marketing plans for revenue generation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding customer IT initiatives and positioning Ivanti's solutions to meet their needs.
  • Facilitate executive-level discussions to strengthen relationships and promote Ivanti technologies.
  • Oversee ongoing account management to enhance customer satisfaction and uncover additional revenue streams.
  • Lead by example in adopting a defined sales process to achieve predictable and repeatable results.

o Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have

  • 7-10 years of experience in enterprise software sales with a focus on account management and business development.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of IT business drivers and the ability to align solutions with client needs.
  • Expertise in developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, particularly in engaging with C-level executives.
  • Ability to manage the sales process from prospecting to closure with a defined methodology.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficient in leveraging CRM tools and data analytics for pipeline management and forecasting.

Roadmap for Success

  • First 90 Days:
    • Complete onboarding and training programs to understand Ivanti's products, services, and sales processes.
    • Familiarize with the Northern California territory, key stakeholders, and existing customer accounts.
    • Build relationships with internal teams, including Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Support.
    • Engage with existing clients to gather insights on their current IT initiatives and challenges.
    • Develop a preliminary account strategy focusing on high-potential clients and opportunities in the region.
    • Identify and establish relationships with key industry partners and alliances.
    • Begin to drive pipeline generation through networking, attending industry events, and prospecting.
  • First 6 Months:
    • Execute on the developed account strategy, aiming to close initial enterprise-level deals.
    • Refine the sales process and adapt strategies based on customer feedback and market conditions.
    • Implement targeted marketing initiatives with the marketing team to drive awareness and interest.
    • Conduct ongoing account management to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.
    • Achieve quarterly sales targets and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
    • Represent Ivanti at industry conferences and networking events to establish authority and generate leads.
  • First 12 Months:
    • Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas, aiming for clear revenue growth in the Northern California region.
    • Strengthen relationships with key accounts, becoming a trusted advisor and partner.
    • Analyze sales data and market trends to continuously refine sales strategies and approaches.
    • Contribute to broader team objectives and collaborate on cross-functional projects to enhance client success.
    • Participate in mentorship programs to help onboard new sales representatives in the region.
    • Provide feedback and insights to leadership on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
