This is a permanent, full-time position where you will play a crucial role in our financial management. You will be responsible for overseeing our accounting department, including manufacturing accounting and inventory management. Your expertise in financials, annual budgeting, and e-commerce will be instrumental in driving our financial success and growth.ResponsibilitiesAs an Accounting Manager, you will• Supervise, direct, and manage the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.• Oversee all aspects of Manufacturing Accounting, including cost accounting, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.• Manage the preparation of the company's budget and financial forecasts. Implement and streamline effective budgeting processes.• Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.• Lead month-end and year-end close process.• Conduct detailed financial analysis to provide management with definitive financial data and advice for their use in setting and realizing profit objectives.• Oversee and manage the general ledger.• Play a key role in the company's financial management which includes all account reconciliations and reporting.• Drive process improvements in the accounting department, leveraging technology and systems to automate functions.• Collaborate with the e-commerce team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.• Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should have• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA designation is strongly preferred.• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably in the technology or manufacturing industry.• Proven experience in managing a team.• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and their application.• Experience with e-commerce and inventory management.• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).• Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.• Proficiency in accounting software.• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.• High level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Accounting Manager who is passionate about technology and ready to make their mark in a growing industry.
