Easy Apply now by clicking the "Easy Apply" button and sending us your resume.Salary $65,000 - $80,000 per yearA Bit About UsVery well known and established company in the construction field offering strong pay, bonuses and substantial room for growthWhy join us?Benefits and Perks• Choice of 3 Medical Plan Options• Prescription Drug Coverage• Dental and Vision Plans• Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Options• Access to Telemedicine and Healthcare Advocacy Services• Paid Parental Leave• Employee Assistance Program• Life and AD&D Insurance• Disability Insurance• Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays• 401(k) Savings Plan with Company Match• Product and Service Group Discount ProgramsJob DetailsMUST HAVE -• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)• 5 or more years of progressive experience in multi-location/multi-state payroll administration• Experience with prevailing wages/certified payroll in a construction or similar environment preferred• Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting practices related to the payroll function• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints, and interact professionally with others• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsResponsibilities -• Assist with projects and tasks as assigned to support payroll/accounting functions• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements, tax regulations, and company policy• Implement processes to build consistent, accurate and reliable payroll practices• make recommendations for enhancements and improvements to processes that create payroll efficiencies, reduce costs, and improve quality of service delivery• Prepare and update payroll policies and procedures to improve payroll processing capabilities and accuracy• Prepare and file weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end payroll reporting (940, 941, state tax withholding etc.)• Oversee issuance of paychecks or electronic transfers to bank accounts according to established payroll cycles• Manage benefit audits (401k, Workers’ Compensation, etc.)• Maintain payroll-related general ledger accounts and reconcile within accounting system• resolve any discrepancies• Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability and nontaxable wages• for additional information on this role and the responsibilities please reach out to me directly at Kelsey.Bannon@jobot.comInterested in hearing more?
