All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, ancestry, color, disability, familial status, gender or gender identity, genetic information, military service, national origin, pregnancy and related conditions, race, religion, sex, veteran status, or any other basis prohibited by law.Essential Job Functions• Collaborates with the university’s creative teams to develop video concepts that align with the university’s strategic goals and which inspire prospective students and other stakeholders• Manages lighting and audio equipment, set preparation and staging to capture quality video and audio• Utilizes knowledge of post-production work to produce high quality audio and video, including editing video to music and color grading to determine which best portray the intended communications message• Manages video assignments, on all campuses, including scheduling and coordinating logistics to maintain efficient execution of assignments, as well as tracking progress of assignments and communicating with university partners, as needed• Collaborates with department managers and university partners to define the nature, communications intent and partner expectations for assignments• Archives visual assets in the university’s digital library for future use, as well as manages and coordinates the scheduling and maintenance of media production and distribution infrastructure• Stays abreast of technological advancements and trends in digital videography software and equipment and maintains skills, as appropriate• Supervises and manages student employees, as necessary, to enhance their academic and professional development• Performs other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree• Moderate amount of experience working in videography, documentary filmmaking or other related experience• Valid U.S. driver’s licensePreferred Qualifications• Federal Aviation Administration drone pilot certification• Experience working in a higher education setting• Knowledge of digital asset management systemsPlease note: Qualified candidates must live or relocate within a daily commuting distance of the Providence Campus location upon hire.Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until job posting is closed.Advertised: 23 Sep 2024 Eastern Daylight TimeApplications close:
