Network/Telecom Engineer

JT4 is seeking a Network/Telecom Engineer for their Las Vegas, NV location.• This position is NOT eligible for telework. *MUST BE A US CITIZENEmployee will be responsible to perform the following functions/duties:• Design, implement, test, and maintain on network and telecom equipment and systems.• Perform as network lead on network field engineering assignments.• Working with different types of networking equipment and associated technologies.• Maintenance on WAN/LAN systems used to transmit voice, data and video across digital and fiber optic WAN/LAN infrastructure.• Design and implement solutions in accordance with commercial network standards.• Maintenance and configuration of network layers 2/3 and TDM networking equipment.• Maintenance with commercial carrier services and managing the system interconnects.• Manage, troubleshoot and repair physical logical network infrastructure.REQUIERMENTS -- EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCEAn associate's degree in engineering or other technical discipline, or formal academic/vocational/military training and a minimum of 3 years of technical/professional experience in the specialty field are required for this position.In addition, a Field Engineer II must possess the following qualifications:• Experience with CISCO network equipment.• Experience with CIENA Optical Transport Network equipment.• Professional knowledge of applicable engineering concepts and principles and familiarity with related engineering fields.• Practical knowledge of test methods and practices sufficient to perform routine to more complex engineering procedures and to prepare or make minor modifications of standard test procedures or test equipment work instructions.• Effective verbal and written communication skills.• Planning/organizational skills.• Must be a US citizen.• Must possess a valid, state issued driver's license.• Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance..BENEFITS• Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance• Benefits Active on Day 1• Life Insurance• Health Savings Accounts/FSA's• Disability Insurance• Paid Time Off• 401(k) Plan Options with Employer Match• JT4 will match 50%, up to an 8% contribution• 100% Immediate Vesting• Tuition ReimbursementABOUT USJT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II.
