About the role
Farewill has partnered with a large network of charities to provide a Free Will Service, helping charities to generate legacy income through gifts in wills. Legacy fundraising provides charities with long term sustainability, and for many charities, it accounts for around a third of their yearly fundraising.
We’re now looking for a Junior Account Manager to join the Charity Account Management team at Farewill.
Farewill partner with over 260 charities, and we have ambitious plans for growth. We’ll be investing in our team and the technology provided to partners, to deliver even more for our charity network. This role is a unique opportunity to be part of that development, to grow our platform and communication, to ultimately help us change the way the world deals with death, and raise millions for charity in the process.

What you'll achieve in your first 12 months:

  • Manage a diverse group of charity clients to support them in their Free Will Service fundraising – onboarding them, providing campaign support through regular calls and emails, delivering reporting and building a great working relationship
  • This role is target-driven so you'll be driving revenue growth with partners by closing renewals and upselling/cross-selling new opportunities
  • Work with the Partnerships Team and other teams in the company to innovate and scale our platforms, as well as our Account Management offering
  • Build and maintain an in-depth understanding of our product by working closely with our product, wills, legal and data teams
  • Build an industry network and be the face of Farewill at internal and external events
  • Deliver a world-class service to our charity partners

Hopefully, you’ll have some or all of the following:

  • You are process-driven with demonstrated attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to teamwork and demonstrated collaboration skills
  • Interest in marketing, or community engagement
  • Experience in driving revenue and account growth
  • Passion for charities (and raising millions through legacy fundraising in doing so), as well as a passion for our mission to change the way the world deals with death

Nice to haves, but not a dealbreaker:

  • Experience preparing reports and presentations
  • Experience in digital marketing
  • Being in a client or customer-facing role. Experience in managing accounts, or projects at scale
  • Data analytical skills (able to sort and analyse raw data, prepare graphs from content)
