Junior Admin - Part Time (20 hrs) Monday - Friday

Objectives of this role: Serve as the eyes and ears of the office, coordinating information, answering questions, and responding to Agency owners’ requests via phone and/or email. Maintain workflow by analyzing and refining standard operating procedures, such as scheduling and communications.


  • Coordinate internal and external resources to expedite workflow with agents and staff.
  • Oversee and achieve organizational goals while upholding best practices.
  • Schedule would be 4 hours a day Monday through Friday! 9am - 1pm or 10am - 2pm
  • This is Not a virtual position, you must come to the office.
Compensation:

$14 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Provide front-desk coverage by managing a busy, multiline phone system, managing incoming/outgoing emails, and maintaining an organized, clean office environment
  • Provide administrative support to Agency Managers, including email correspondence and generation and distribution of memos, letters, spreadsheets, forms, and faxes
  • Plan, organize, and schedule company meetings in the office, off-site, and via videoconference
  • Work with new and existing agents with contracting with insurance carriers
  • Utilize and organize Agency's electronic note system
  • Maintain filing system, contact database, agent and customer lists
  • Help with filtering job applicants
Qualifications:

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Think outside the box
  • Previous success in office management
  • Comfortable handling confidential information
  • Insurance Experience a Plus
