Junior Business and Technology Analyst - Application Developer

Job Summary and Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a unique and immersive rotational program as a first step in your career in technology. This full-time rotational program is geared toward providing multi-software platform exposure that focuses on the expansion of knowledge and real-life application within each. We are seeking innovative and energetic individuals who are excited about expanding their skillsets and accelerating their career path with immediate exposure to software applications.
For this position, you will be in the Application Developer Rotational Program where you will be joining the Axos Consumer Information Technology Group. You will get to be a part of a team responsible for the implementation of cutting-edge software driven solutions. As you progress through the program, you will rotate into different complimentary areas within the Developer track where roles and responsibilities will change. The final goal of the program is permanent placement within your area of focus. For those looking to make an impact this is where it begins.
The teams you will begin with in this role will revolve around both front-end and back-end software development. Through the different rotations completed, you will gain the knowledge and skills to provide enterprise level solutions.
This position is on-site and will be located at our HQ in San Diego, California.
Responsibilities:
  • Create robust customers experiences within web and email through HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Develop custom interfaces with .NET framework
  • Design, develop, maintain applications/solutions with low code platforms
  • Configure workflows that utilize optical character recognition technology to automate the capture of information from documents
  • Work within document management systems to enhance storage and access of digital content
  • Analyze code for problem resolution and enhancements
  • Develop and test technology solutions to improve business processes
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve any and all issues within various software platforms
  • Utilize business tools available and analyze current methods to determine efficiency gaps and areas for possible enhancements
  • Assist with discovery and documentation of business requirements for new solutions
  • Building and maintenance Visualforce /Aura components and LWC Interfaces with external REST-type/SOAP systems
  • APEX triggers and classes
  • Process Builder
  • Flows and Workflows rules
  • Calls to Web Services
  • Integration With internal and external financial services Develop high-level and scalable integration using the standard Salesforce tools and custom meta data types
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related discipline

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to simplify complex concepts for technical and non-technical audience
Preferred:
  • 1+ year's working in an office environment or recent college graduate
  • Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, SQL, C# or similar coding or query language
  • Front-End Development JavaScript, CSS, HTML., and object-oriented programming language e.g. C# programming language and .NET framework
  • Programming with databases: SQL Server
  • Knowledge in Database Modeling
