At Kairos Power, we're on a mission to transform the way the world approaches clean energy, and we're looking for a passionate Heat Exchanger Development Engineer to join our dynamic team in Albuquerque, NM. In this hands-on role, you'll play a critical part in developing and optimizing heat exchange systems that are pivotal to our fluoride-salt-cooled, high-temperature reactor (FHR) technology. Your expertise in analyzing and testing new hardware solutions will directly contribute to enhancing the efficiency and reliability of our heat exchangers for commercial and demonstration plants. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll undertake performance evaluations and thermal-hydraulic analyses, putting your analytical skills to the test as you validate design assumptions through practical experimentation. With your background in mechanical or nuclear engineering and at least 7 years of experience focusing on heat exchangers, you'll have plenty of opportunities to grow and push the boundaries of what's possible in nuclear technology. We believe in fostering a collaborative environment where knowledge is shared and innovative solutions are created. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves, dive into hands-on hardware testing, and make a meaningful impact in the clean energy sector, we're excited to meet you!
Our mission is to enable the world’s transition to clean energy, with the ultimate goal of dramatically improving people’s quality of life while protecting the environment.
