Manufacturing Quality Technician - Welding
Kairos Power is a nuclear energy technology and engineering company aiming to enable the transition to clean energy. They seek a Manufacturing Technician focused on quality issues in welding.
Skills
- Weld testing methods experience
- Proficiency with weld inspection tools
- Understanding of GD&T requirements
- Problem solving and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Selects and utilizes standard measurement tools for weld quality inspection
- Offers design input on weldment designs
- Performs inspections of weld quality per AWS and ASME standards
- Creates new weld procedure specifications
- Communicates quality issues to engineering and manufacturing teams
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years related experience or training
