Our client is seeking a Senior QA Engineer with expertise in testing Unity-based applications. Product involves containerized services within Kubernetes environments. This role will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of a digital twin solution for 3D visualization, as well as the supporting suite of services. You will partner closely with the Senior/Lead Automation QA Engineer to facilitate completion of goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in functional, non-functional, and performance testing.
Partner with the lead QA to develop testing strategies covering functional, non-functional, and performance aspects, ensuring compliance with DoD STIG and ATO requirements.
Partner with team to create a robust testing plan.
Conduct comprehensive functional testing of product and related services, including annotations, links, and dashboard functionality in multi-user 3D environments.
Perform regression testing, working with automation QA using CI/CD pipelines to ensure stability post-updates.
Verify features and workflows behave as expected.
Test inputs, outputs, and user interactions.
Provide weekly and monthly progress reports summarizing testing outcomes, identified issues, and recommendations for improvement.
Document testing workflows and results and conduct training sessions as needed for client IT staff.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in Manual QA engineering with a focus on functional, non-functional, and performance testing.
Strong proficiency in testing Unity-based applications and containerized services.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving defects.
Other Skills and Notes
Exposure to U.S. DoD compliance requirements.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with database testing for Postgres in high-concurrency environments.
Contract will last approximately 12 weeks. Role is remote with a possibility of minimal travel to client's onsite Florida location.
