Supervisor, Manufacturing Operations

Kairos Power is a new nuclear energy technology and engineering company seeking a highly motivated Supervisor, Manufacturing Operations to manage shop operations for building prototypes and manufacturing high-quality parts.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise daily activities of shop personnel including machinists, fabricators, welders

  • Partner with engineering and Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
  • Ensure designs are easy and cost-effective to manufacture
  • Complete work order planning and ensure work instructions
  • Operate and program machines when required
  • Work with environmental, health, and safety teams

  • Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities
  • Lead diversity initiatives across shop operations

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred
