On behalf of our client, a leading innovative energy solutions company, we are seeking an exceptional Vice President of Modular Execution to spearhead their modular construction strategy for e-Fuel plants. This pivotal role will drive the development and implementation of innovative modular execution philosophies, focusing on standardization, cost reduction, and efficient project delivery on a global scale.

About the Role:

As the VP of Modular Execution, you will lead the charge in revolutionizing how cost-effective e-fuel plants are built. Your expertise will be crucial in managing third-party contractors, particularly in Asia, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while adhering to industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic modularization of e-Fuel plant designs
  • Create an ecosystem of 'plants as a product' to reduce engineering costs through consistent modularization
  • Establish and manage relationships with Asian fabrication companies, equipment suppliers, and contractors
  • Oversee project milestones, budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance across international projects
  • Drive innovation in modular construction techniques and promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • Build expertise within development teams and technical professionals to achieve global standardization
  • Lead and mentor a team of project managers and construction professionals
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and compliance
  • Optimize plant construction expenditures, effectively reducing CAPEX
  • Ensure the final modular plant design is replicated in all geographies
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in petrochemical construction management, with 5+ years in a leadership role
  • Extensive experience in modular construction and contractor management
  • Deep understanding of hydrogen/chemical production processes
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale international projects
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent negotiation and cross-cultural communication abilities
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in one or more Asian languages highly desirable
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus
  • Competitive salary range: CNY 850,000 - 1,400,000 per annum
  • Performance-based bonus structure (up to 60% of base salary)
