Temporary Supply Chain Employee - Product Inventory Shipment PreparationPosition OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Temporary Supply Chain Employee to assist with product inventory management, discrepancy resolution, and shipment preparation. In this role, you will be responsible for sorting out inventory discrepancies, preparing pallets for shipment by wrapping and labeling, and ensuring that all products are accurately accounted for. This temporary position is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in supply chain operations.Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Management:Assist in counting and verifying product inventory to identify and resolve discrepancies. Update inventory records to reflect accurate stock levels.Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies by cross-referencing records, inspecting physical stock, and liaising with relevant departments. Report findings and recommend corrective actions to prevent future discrepancies.Shipment Preparation: Prepare products for shipment by accurately picking and organizing items according to order specifications. Wrap and secure pallets for shipment to ensure product safety during transit. Label pallets correctly with shipment details, ensuring compliance with company standards and customer requirements.Coordination and Communication: Work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate shipments. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory issues and shipment status.General Support: Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the supply chain department.QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience: Previous experience in inventory, warehouse operations, or supply chain preferred.Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift and move items.
