Job Purpose

This is a full remote position. We are looking for someone based on the West Coast to visit our customers. Reporting to the Senior Key Account Manager. Sales/business professional trained in assigned account management scope and main skills, with contributing responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Grow Givaudan business with designated accounts by managing top and bottom lines
  • Manage customer relationships within portfolio of accounts
  • Monitor customer and competitor activity and maintain customer information
  • Develop and track Account Plans for main accounts
  • Develop and deliver internal and customer presentations
  • Identify/create opportunities for Givaudan to participate in targeted briefs
  • Identify customer requirements and follow up on customer submission
  • Coordinate other teams to support customer priorities, ensuring the most efficient management of Givaudan resources
  • Transition customer projects and new wins from scale-up to production
  • Follow Indicators versus targets (Sales, Gross Profit, win rate…) and take corrective actions if necessary Nego-tiate pricing agreements within guidelines
  • Manage credit, pricing, rebates and budget for main accounts Manage and resolve customer com-plaints and ensure prompt resolution
  • Comply with all appropriate Givaudan and statutory EHS and regulatory guidelines

You?

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience in ingredients B2B sales with successful track record
  • Experience in health & nutrition industry
  • Knowledge of customer strategies, projects, commercial needs and product launch processes and competitor activity
  • Experience with food and beverage
  • Competence in developing and delivering compelling presentations
  • Commercial Skills
  • Develop relationships with customers, decision-makers and influencers
  • Identify value drivers for main customers and understand how to position Givaudan offerings
  • Initiate projects to produce new business
  • Experience with the Health & Nutrition Industry
