Job Description

Join business Unit Port Services, a critical part of Port Solutions, is a trusted service partner within port industry. Port Services offers both internally and externally a wide range of services, such as maintenance and inspection agreements, retrofit and modernization packages, spare parts, training, consulting, and digital services for port equipment manufactured by Konecranes as well as other lifting equipment manufacturers.

Global Port Part Center within Port Services is responsible for managing offers, orders and deliveries of spare parts to container handling, shipyard and bulk handling customers globally.

We are looking for an Offer Engineer to join our collaborative Port Part Center (PPC) team in Hyvinkää. In this role, you will work alongside our dedicated spare part professionals, contributing to the success of our global operations.

Your daily responsibilities include:

  • Creating detailed offers for individual spare part requests as well as for large-scope spare part projects
  • Communicating with customers and following up status of the offers
  • Participating in spare part-related development projects to drive continuous improvement.
  • Providing back up support to our global customers from port and Terminal industry and internal stakeholders
  • Participating in customer and other stakeholder meetings

The job is located in Hyvinkää, with the possibility to work partly remotely, offering you a flexible and balanced work environment.

Qualifications

For this role, we are seeking for a candidate with technical educational background. We appreciate previous working experience in technical sales and value if you have knowledge of ERP & PLM systems. You are welcome to Konecranes as yourself, but we especially value your good teamwork skills, hard-working attitude, and enthusiasm for working in technical and international environment.

It’s important to us that you have good cooperation skills and customer-oriented attitude as this role is much about collaborating with customers and other stakeholders.
