Position Overview:
KORE Power, Inc. is seeking a EH&S Manager that directs the environmental, industrial, health and safety regulation compliance for KORE facilities, specifically the gigawatt KOREPlex battery factory in Buckeye, AZ. This role will oversee the development, planning, and implementation of environmental, health and safety policies; develops policies and procedures (chemical safety, ergonomics, illness, and injury prevention, and building safety) used throughout the company. This role also ensures compliance with national, state, local, and international regulations for all KORE facilities worldwide pertaining to environmental safety. The individual will also handle all contact with appropriate agencies, oversee licensed hazardous waste disposal and monitors waste handling, and develop and oversee company training programs for employees. Areas of expertise will include compliance training, lab/plant inspection, hazardous material handling, emergency response, industrial hygiene, and life safety, directs the actions of emergency personnel. This role also ensures appropriate corrective action is taken where health and safety hazards exist and selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
