If you’re as passionate about your future as we are, join our team.KPMG is currently seeking a Tax Associate to join our Finance and Accounting organization.Responsibilities:• Prepare tax liability projections for direct entry partners, new and retiring partners for review by managers• Participate with general data entry into CCH tax software; participate in other Partner Tax Services group projects and initiatives, including coordinating communications to partners, tax return data connection testing and special projects as requested• Assist with tax compliance needs for PTS including preparation of GMS partner returns not prepared by KGS, dual partners, dual K-1 partners, revisions and updates to PTS draft, and final returns for final review by PTS manager/AD• Provide assistance with populating Part Year Excel template for all partners who moved during the current tax year from multiple data sources; prepare part-year returns (in conjunction with KGS) and work with managers reviewing such returns to make appropriate revisions• Aid with the preparation of part-year estimates post 4/15 and 10/15 for partners with changes to their residency; assist in updating, populating and testing of Data Connection Import Excel utility with KPMG partnership information for draft and final tax returns• Review, interpret and draft responses to tax authority notices received by partnersQualifications:• Minimum one year of recent experience in preparing federal and state individual tax returns for clients preferred• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in business, finance or accounting• Experience with CCH income tax software and Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel (understanding of Excel VBA a plus), OneNote and Outlook preferred• Ability to manage competing priorities under tight timelines• Licensed CPA or Enrolled Agent preferredKPMG complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
