Finance Transformation Manager

Job Description:KPMG is seeking a Manager to join its Federal Advisory practice, specializing in Federal Finance Transformation. This role focuses on overseeing federal financial management processes, driving change management efforts, and ensuring effective project management for finance transformation initiatives.Responsibilities:• Process Mapping & Data Analysis: Review tools and outputs for process mapping, data analysis, and visualization.• Lead Walkthroughs & Documentation: Lead teams to document current and future financial management functions and support the development of financial strategies.• Change Management: Execute change management initiatives and create training materials to support finance transformation.• Root-Cause Analysis: Conduct root-cause analysis, validate corrective actions, and manage risk identification.• Audit & Compliance: Review audit requests, prepare responses, and support walkthroughs with stakeholders.• Federal Standards Research: Interpret and communicate the impact of Federal standards, policies, and regulations on financial operations.Qualifications:• Experience:• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Federal financial management, controls, reporting, budgeting, auditing, or audit readiness.• Experience with FASAB, GAO, FAR, FMR, CFR, Treasury, and OMB.• Education:• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
