You are the driving force behind KPN's transformation towards a leading telecom infrastructure. As Enterprise Architect Cloud & Datacenter, you oversee the full cloud and datacenter architecture and strategy, taking into account not only technology, but also financial, operational and organizational impact. You connect long-term vision with practical implementation and stakeholder alignment.

• Translate internal, external, and societal developments into strategic proposals for transformation and optimisation
• Define and communicate the long-term cloud and datacenter strategy including architectural frameworks
• Assess the financial impact and value of proposed changes and advise senior management (up to EVP level)
• Translate strategic direction into clear guidelines and multi-year roadmaps, aligned with CAPEX planning
• Guide cross-domain collaboration to ensure successful implementation of architecture and strategy, and lead RFX processes

You’ll be part of the Network & Cloud team: a dedicated group of strategy leads, architects, and transformation leads with a passion for technology. Together, you work within the Technology Office—KPN’s innovation hub—where ideas are turned into real solutions. The culture is collaborative, ambitious, and deeply customer-focused.

You’re eager to explore new technologies and translate them into value. You bring leadership, strategy, and deep domain knowledge together with a customer-first attitude. To be successful in this role, you’ll need the following:

• A relevant degree from a university or university of applied sciences
• 6+ years’ experience in cloud architecture, including hybrid cloud, DevOps, platform engineering, and observability tools
• Strong experience in telecom, cloud transformation, and customer-centric solution design
• Hands-on expertise with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and infrastructure automation (CI/CD, IaC, GitHub workflows)
• Proven ability to align strategy across departments and influence stakeholders at board and field levels

As an employer, we offer you an attractive package, including:

• Gross monthly salary between €6,576 and €10,389, depending on your experience (based on 40 hours)
• A fixed 13th-month salary, partially paid monthly and partially in January, or you can allocate it to a FLEX & BOOST goal of your choice
• Annual individual and collective salary increases according to our collective labor agreement (CAO)
• €1,500 per year for personal development, which you can use for training, coaching, or courses

• Excellent pension plan: 23% total contribution, with KPN covering 16% and you contributing 7%
