Our global Compliance team is redefining how compliance should be done - we challenge the norms and practices of the incumbent industry participants to identify ways to make Compliance at Kraken a competitive advantage. Our teams navigate the regulatory uncertainty and changing policy positions of global regulators and governments to help chart a path that ensures Kraken is successful in a truly dynamic industry.
Compliance Analysts are learning the skills at both the company and the department way to perform the work. For this role, the work requires judgment on simple tasks. The specific business area is the primary scope and, when prompted, Compliance Analysts also participate in projects and special requests.
Review investigation reports and accurately upload the data to the government website.
Manage various inboxes and case/alert queues and provide timely responses to all stakeholders
Communicate effectively when participating within cross-functional projects when requested
Foundational knowledge of AML programs
Knowledge of basic AML Know-Your-Customer requirements
Attention to detail and ability to review investigation reports and accurately upload the data to the regulator’s website.
Ability to act independently in analyzing a customer’s risk and effectively research compliance regulations
Ability to be analytical/problem solving, and possess clear written and verbal communication skills
The ability to balance competing priorities on a daily basis and organize time wisely
Proficient in Microsoft/Google Suite products (Excel, Google docs, sheets)
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to contribute to ownership of work product and deliver results
Adaptability to global business and team needs
Ability to work in a rapidly changing regulatory environment
1+ years experience in a compliance role at a financial institution or equivalent
Proficiency in various internal systems desired. Examples include:

Admin
