Job Description:Provide comprehensive leadership in the warehouse operations, ensuring that all aspects of equipment handling and product delivery result in prompt, accurate, safe, quality services that elicit world-class feedback. Uphold the 7 Kroger Manufacturing High Performance Work System principles and respect the company's core values while adhering to the Customer 1st strategy and safeguarding the set standards for safety, quality, reliability (SQR) for the entire plant.Responsibilities:• To ensure regular production quotas are satisfied, skillfully operate and preserve specified apparatus and its connected devices• Required to oversee that all safety measures are upheld, this includes making sure everyone is properly outfitted in PPE• Keeping a watchful eye on the product to ensure that it meets or exceeds quality standards is critical to the success of any manufacturer• Standardizing work processes can improve warehouse efficiency and productivity. Thus, employees should follow the standard procedures outlined in their training and procedural manuals• Demonstrate solid proficiency in handling a range of vehicles and equipment within a warehouse environment, while also displaying adeptness in using a variety of handheld tools• Establish routine maintenance and repair procedures for the warehouse equipment• Complete safety observations• Keep your work area organized and uncluttered to improve your job performance and overall productivity• Check that all electrical connections and power sources are functioning properly and safely, and that all cords and connections are secured and not frayed• When writing on forms or documents, it is important to use clear and legible handwriting to ensure that others can easily read and understand what is being communicated. Illegible writing can cause confusion and delays in processing• If the conditions warrant it, there are several things that can be done in this position.
