Finance Business Partner

This role will provide essential support to the FP&A Manager in the execution of various critical tasks, primarily focused on delivering insightful financial analysis, comprehensive reporting, and effective business partnering activities. As a Finance Business Partner, you will be positioned at the heart of the organisation, playing a vital role in the formulation and development of intricate financial models that will aid in strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support planning and reporting activities.
  • Support the preparation of management reports, including variance analysis, KPIs, and insights.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting outputs, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with relevant insights.

Finance Business Partnering

·        Partner with operational and commercial divisions to monitor budgets, control costs, and improve valuable insights.

·        Provide ad hoc financial analysis and scenario planning for strategic initiatives.

Strategic Projects

  • Support the implementation and regular maintenance of FP&A tool (Datarails).
  • Assist in process improvements to ensure efficient, scalable reporting practices.
  • Work with IT and senior finance team members to drive reporting improvements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complexity and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to present financial information clearly and influence non-finance stakeholders.
  • Exposure to senior stakeholders and managing relationships
  • Experience using FP&A tools and advanced Excel modelling.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to align financial insights with strategic goals.
  • Adaptable and resilient, with a proactive mindset to address challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in FP&A, business partnering, and financial modelling.
  • Background in modelling, scenario planning and KPI reporting.
  • Familiarity with Finance Systems (NetSuite), Advanced Excel (Power Query), and CRM systems (e.g. Bullhorn) is desirable but not essential.
