Most importantly, in a future where only relevant knowledge is delivered, it will be ready to be applied immediately. For Skillab and Skvot Romania, we are looking for a Chief Executive Officer. This role involves overseeing all operations within the country, driving business growth, building teams, and identifying new opportunities.

Your areas of influence:

  • Lead and manage operations in the Romanian market.
  • Cooperating with the Global Teams and Global CEO to create a local roadmap;
  • Develop and implement business strategies for the Skillab and Skvot projects.
  • Drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Represent the company in critical negotiations and strategic partnerships.
  • Legal administration of the entity.
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing local team.

What are we looking for:

  • Proven experience in senior leadership roles, preferably as a CEO or Country Manager.
  • Deep understanding of the Romanian market and its business environment.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive data-informed decisions.
  • A systematic and strategic mindset for managing complex projects and developing long-term plans.
  • Excellent command of English and Romanian, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate across international teams.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale projects or businesses.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.

Nice-to-have:

  • Previous experience in EdTech or a similar industry.
  • Previous entrepreneurial experience, showcasing the ability to take ownership, manage risks, and drive business growth.
  • A strong network within the local business community.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation and innovation in business processes.
