LATAM Demand Planning Manager

COTY is looking for smart leaders who are fast and passionate.

We are searching for a talented supply chain professional for our LATAM Supply Chain team. This role is accountable for leading and directing the supply chain function for COTY’s operations across LATAM business. Primary objective is to forecast, direct and coordinate all SC activities to facilitate the cost-effective flow of products from our Distribution center to customers and ensure that the ongoing business priorities and service are achieved against plan.

THE ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for:
Manage, direct and coordinate the Market planning team to optimize efforts in meeting departmental goals.
Lead and control add demand activities to ensure cost effectiveness and agreed service levels are maintained.
Own all demand planning tasks for launch to discontinuation, inlcuding launch sizing, promo planning, PIPO management and non-sellable.
Ensure forecast is using historical data, statistical forecasting and market insights and maintain the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool (JDA)
Track forecast accuracy and fulfillment levels, root-cause variances and develop action plans.
Lead monthly SOP process for the region
Monitor and evaluate KPI’s such as fill rate., forecast accuracy and alignment with financial plans. The process includes identifying gaps, recommending and implementing actions to improve performance in key areas
Review exiting processes and suggest improvements to increase efficiency or effectiveness
Develop relationships: internally with the commercial team and externally with the customer’s key decision-makers and information sources.
Implement logistics tools: link and optimize the cost, reliability and responsiveness of the Supply Chain
Implement logistic innovations: implement industry best practices and assist the commercial team with initiatives and events that require special logistic support

QUALIFICATIONS

We’d love to see candidates who have:
Essential:
+7 years’ experience in supply chain management and associated functions at a senior level.
Relevant industry experience with knowledge of mass/consumer sector
Strong technical knowledge and an understanding of LATAM markets is helpful.
Relevant tertiary level qualifications in Business/ Supply Chain/ Logistics
Experience managing key stakeholders, great written and communication skills.
Advanced user of Excel and ERP/business systems ideally SAP
Strong analytical, thinking and problem-solving skills – solid understanding of key business drivers and ability to add value.
Planning, organizing and coordinating – able to plan and coordinate efforts across matrixed organization and ability to prioritize effectively.
Proven ability to lead, manage and coach a team possess good communication skills, able to lead by example, inspire, motivate, engage and drive results.
