Job Title: Federal Government Data Analyst

Location: Hybrid (50/50) - Alexandria, VA

Compensation: Direct Hire, up to $110,000 per year

Clearance: Public Trust Clearance

(Need experience with government contractors, DOD, DHS, DOJ, etc)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in Alexandria, VA. This hybrid position requires you to work on-site 50% of the time, with the flexibility to work remotely the other 50%. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of professional experience, particularly in Business Intelligence (BI) and data warehouse projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with external clients to gather and document detailed business requirements and user stories.

Develop, maintain, and enhance SQL queries and scripts for data analysis and reporting.

Design and implement data reporting solutions, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Work closely with stakeholders to interpret data, analyze results, and provide actionable insights.

Support data warehouse development and maintenance, including ETL processes and data integration.

Ensure data quality and integrity across multiple platforms and sources.

Prepare and present detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations to various stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in data analysis or a related field.

Proven experience working on BI and data warehouse projects.

Strong proficiency in SQL and data reporting.

Demonstrated ability to gather and document business requirements and user stories.

Experience working directly with external clients.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Understanding of ETL processes and data integration.

Knowledge of database management systems and data warehousing concepts.

Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
