Sr. Quality Control Specialist (PCBs/Electrical Technician Experience)

Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Control Specialist with expertise in Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) or Electrical Technician work to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our electronic products and systems. Department of Defense (DoD) experience is preferred but not required. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can uphold high-quality standards and support production, inspection, and compliance efforts in a fast-paced, regulated environment. This is a 3 month contract to hire.


Responsibilities:
  • Quality Assurance & Inspection:
  • Perform detailed inspections of PCBs and electronic assemblies to ensure they meet company and industry standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, J-STD-001).
  • Conduct functional testing and troubleshooting of electronic components and systems.
  • Identify and document defects, deviations, or non-conformances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with quality standards, procedures, and regulations, including AS9100 and ISO 9001.
  • Prepare and review inspection reports, quality documentation, and test records.
  • Support audits by internal teams, customers, or regulatory agencies.
  • Collaboration & Process Improvement:
  • Work closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Provide feedback to enhance product designs and manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce defects.
  • Training & Mentorship:
  • Train and mentor junior team members on quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in PCB and electrical quality control techniques.
