Tax Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Manager to oversee and manage tax compliance, reporting, and planning for our organization. The ideal candidate will ensure that all tax-related matters are handled efficiently, timely, and in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.


Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee tax compliance activities, including the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns (income, sales, VAT, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations in all jurisdictions.
  • Provide advice on tax planning, tax structuring, and potential tax-saving strategies.
  • Coordinate audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization.
  • Prepare and review quarterly and annual tax provision calculations and filings.
  • Manage the tax department and provide guidance to junior tax staff.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper tax treatment of transactions.
  • Assist in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions from a tax perspective.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A CPA or JD is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in tax, with at least 1 year in a senior or managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of corporate tax laws and compliance.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
