Join LCMC Health, and you’ll find that our everyday makes it easy to live your extraordinary.GENERAL DUTIESCorrective and Preventative Maintenance:• Performs corrective, and preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical systems.• Performs daily rounds and proactively identifies potential issues.• Maintains a high craft level, and demonstrates strong knowledge of the electrical trade and NEC codes.Patient Safety/Fire Life Safety:• Adheres to electrical safety, life safety, patient safety, and infection prevention measures pertaining to craft trades.• Inspects the electrical distribution and essential electrical systems components including batteries, generators, ATS, and fuel systems.Troubleshoot repairs:• Demonstrates knowledge and experience reading circuit diagrams and using testing equipment to evaluate electrical equipment failures accurately.Communication/Teamwork:• Communicate with the requester of work orders to clarify concerns and ensure satisfactory results.• Communicate with supervisors, managers, and other departments to coordinate repairs or inspections that will impact their utility service.• Provides assistance to other tradesmen or vendors.Time Management/Service Training:• Manages time to close work orders per department standards.• Inspects, maintains, and keeps assigned tools secure.EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS• 3 years of experience in Electrical repairs and maintenance or related areas.LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS• Class C and D Electrician from the State of Louisiana or City of New Orleans One Stop Permits & Licenses This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this department.
