Position Title: Lead, Entertainment and Influencer Marketing

Reports to: Director of External Relations

Location: Boston or remote U.S., up to 10 percent traveling

Employment Type: Full-time

Position Overview


Over three decades, Partners In Health (PIH) has built an excellent reputation as a global health leader. The Lead, Entertainment and Influencer Marketing oversees efforts to leverage that reputation by collaborating with the entertainment industry and high-profile figures in popular culture. From within the Marketing and Communications Department, the Lead works with executives, celebrities, and their representatives to extend PIH brand messaging and responsibly showcase PIH’s unique mission and values.


Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute an influencer program to amplify PIH priorities
    • Identify and partner with pop culture leaders who reflect PIH’s values
    • Oversee the development of presentations, proposals, and integrated marketing strategies
  • Create and execute an entertainment program to amplify PIH priorities
    • Pitch and develop on-brand partnerships with film studios, TV networks, streaming services, and other such companies
    • Brainstorm, evaluate, and implement marketing arrangements
  • Manage projects on schedule and in synch with digital, content, and media-relations campaigns
  • Supervise a Manager and a Coordinator
  • Monitor and share successes, and areas for improvement


Qualifications


  • Undergraduate degree plus five years’ experience in a similar role at a non-profit, international agency, or foundation
  • Deep interest in social justice and global health
  • Current and strategic understanding of the entertainment, talent, and media industries
  • Strong communication skills, including writing, speaking, and graphic design
  • Diplomacy and sound judgement
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional early mornings and weekends
  • Willingness to travel on occasion, including international travel to locations with limited infrastructure
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across departments and time zones
