What you’ll do

  • Understand the B2 Cloud Storage business and use cases and deliver intuitive product design solutions.
  • Walk a mile in our customers’ shoes, understand their needs and design and advocate solutions to help them.
  • Break down complex problems, write and test hypotheses and designs, and thoughtfully iterate from “minimal lovable” to mature, best-in-class product experiences.
  • Collaborate with other team members to implement the experience solution.
  • Create a design system that helps us quickly create products that delights our customers.
  • Use data to spot challenges, help you make decisions and know when a solution is working.
  • Chart a course for yourself in ambiguous situations.
  • Know how to get *stuff* done without anyone telling you what the *stuff* is or how.

Who you are

  • 5+ years of industry experience in product design.
  • An online portfolio product design work.
  • An analytical problem solver who is customer obsessed.
  • Experience with designing solutions to simplify complex workflows and/or experience in delivering design solutions for technical products of large scope and complexity.
  • Experience in best practices for information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of design system development, usability principles and techniques.
  • Demonstrated history of acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps.
  • Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Sketch, Figma, InVision, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar.
  • Experience working in a collaborative, diverse team, working directly with developers for implementation of designs.
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent degree.

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state. We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and country location, benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate location, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is $150,000 to $220,000.
