Job Summary

Insight Global seeks an experienced Full-stack Developer to join our software development team, which will develop data analytics applications for a global leader in the aerospace industry. The client’s office location is in the area of Hartford, CT, but team members may work remotely (within compatible time zones).

This team will follow the Scrum framework in developing sophisticated new solutions for data consolidation, analysis and forecasting for the client’s supply chain. The team will be operating in a large enterprise environment, working with business stakeholders to develop important new capabilities supporting their global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

As a senior member of the team, you’ll contribute your extensive experience and hard-won knowledge to:

• Make substantial contributions to the architecture, design and implementation of complex data analytics applications
• Partner effectively with the client’s Product Owner and stakeholders, translating business needs and technical guidelines into solution designs and incremental deliverables
• Champion technical craftmanship, continuous improvement practices, and a quality-first mindset
• Mentor less experienced developers and promote collaboration within the team

Core qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• 7+ years of software development experience encompassing data structures, APIs/services and user interfaces
• Proficiency in JavaScript development (ReactJS/ Angular)
• Demonstrated experience building RESTful APIs (Python/Django preferred)
• Previous participation in Scrum or other Agile team frameworks
• Cloud Experience (Azure preferred)

Plusses:

• Experience in design & development of cloud-native applications
• Previous work involving Data Science, Machine Learning, data analytics

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $85.00 - $95.00 per hour
