Learning & Develop Specialist

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
30% Assesses, designs, develops, delivers & evaluates learning solutions that reflect adult learning ideas to build capabilities and drive behavioral change and engage learners.Consults with HR colleagues, division leaders and other stakeholders to conduct needs assessments to identify appropriate learning and development solutions.

15% Utilizes blended learning platforms and learning technology (including eLearning) to enhance the learner experience and application of learning.

15% Oversees the design and preparation of training materials, develops instructional content, and determines methodology.

10% Creates and administers surveys to trainees and implements changes based on feedback.

10% Serves as point of contact to clients for questions regarding uses business products.

10% Attends conferences and regional training to enhance effectiveness and delivery methods of group facilitation.

5% Partners with leadership to monitor training expenditures and generate the required reports.

5% Remains abreast on trends and changes within the training and development industry.

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree

Experience: 5 years Experience delivering various training, teaching or adult learning modules to large audiences.

In Lieu of Education
In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Owings Mills, MD 21117: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • LMS: 4 years (Required)
  • Training & development: 2 years (Required)
