In short, we're on a mission to disrupt the outdated and ineffective world of corporate learning and help corporate learning teams overcome one of their biggest challenges — holding every person in their organisation accountable for their behaviours and making sure change sticks.

We've just had our third consecutive year of rocket-fuelled growth and now we're looking for a Legal Counsel as we continue our growth.

About the role

We're looking for an agile, organised, collaborative legal counsel, who can support various legal needs of the business. This role will provide commercial legal support to the UK and US businesses. Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Accurately and effectively draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts
• Review and amend standard terms and conditions and agreements ensuring they are updated to meet all relevant legislation
• Collaborate with the commercial team to consider changes in standard terms
• Maintain and update the agreement database and ensure appropriate notices of variations and updates are provided to clients
• Accurately review supplier agreements and negotiate amendments
• Assist the sales and content teams with general copyright matters
• Assist the people team with employment matters
• Prepare data processing agreements and liaise with the CISO on data privacy queries
• Assist the leadership team with risk management

• You're an infinite learner who is curious, seeks out feedback and collaboration and is always seeking a better way
• You are a UK qualified lawyer and have experience working in a commercial environment
• You will be happy to work on a flexible basis, on a three or four-day per week contract
• You thrive in an autonomous environment, you're proactive and happy to get stuck in
• You embrace change and a dynamic, fluid and fast-paced environment

BONUS:

• You have experience working both at a law firm and in-house
• You have experience working with US contracts

What our hybrid working environment looks like

We are growing rapidly in both the UK and the US and you'll be operating in a global capacity. Ideally, you'll be in the London office occasionally but we operate a hybrid model so this can flex alongside home working and with plenty of opportunities to get together in our various locations.
