DescriptionJob DescriptionLeidos Dynetics is seeking a Control Account Manager (CAM) to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. The ideal candidate will need to have a background in executing MRP, Requisitioning & Procurement activities and prior experience using Deltek CostPoint. This position is a Plant Staff Level Position for Machining, Welding & Fabrication and Assembly & Integration of Mechanical systems for DoD, Aerospace and Commercial programs.Primary ResponsibilitiesThe Control Account Manager is the single point of contact for management of the Control Account, responsible for managing the cost, schedule, and technical performance of the Control Account. This a large program. Selected candidate will gain broad experience and will interact up to the PM level. Below is a list of specific CAM responsibilities.• Establish and maintain Control Account budgets and schedules.• Define the tasks and the sequencing of the schedule for optimizing the accomplishment of the work scope.• Assure the scheduled activities for the Control Account have a realistic duration and performance logic.• Maintain the appropriate portions of the WBS Dictionary and approve the Control Account Work Authorization (CAWA) and authorized changes to the CAWA.• Proactively manage the personnel performing the Control Account detailed scope of work.• Identify, negotiate, and implement required vertical and horizontal interfaces.• Review and approve all resources and cost type charging to the Control Account and assure its accuracy.• Monitor and assess performance of Control Accounts and Work Packages.• Prepare Control Account Variance Analysis Reports that clearly address cause, impact, and corrective action.• Develop, implement, and manage corrective actions, as applicable.• Prepare Estimates to Completion for remaining Control Account and work package work scope.• Provide forecast dates for accomplishing activities and milestones in the Control Account Schedule.• Inform management of significant problems concerning Control Account performance.• Lead or participate in Make/Buy decisions.• Status all work scheduled within the Control Account.• Participate in applicable IPT meetings to assure technical integration.• Basic Qualifications• Bachelor's degree with 8 or more years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.• Experience supervising or leading teams or projects.• Previous CAM experience or project lead experience.• Proficient in Microsoft Project.• Experience or knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).• Candidate must be a US Citizen and must possess and maintain a Final Secret Clearance.Original Posting Date:2024-08-08While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
