Motion / Graphic Designer

Description Leidos' Health and Civil Sector is seeking a Motion / Graphic Designer to join the team that will be responsible for developing both digital / print design projects as well as short-form video projects. Role is telecommute within the United States in Eastern time zone Candidate MUST: be currently located in Eastern time zone and in the United States for the current three consecutive yearsbe a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.The Motion/Graphic Designer will be a member of our Training and Communications Team supporting the senior leadership team, including the creating, editing and coordinate of complex and graphic intense presentations targeted toward a wide variety of audiences. The individual is responsible for gathering technical content and distilling to salient points to communicate the organization’s project and program status, assisting with the design in adding complex graphics for presentations, etc. to audiences. The individual may be called upon to support the leadership team with strategic planning initiatives and creating the products (e.g., documents, placemats, briefings, websites...etc.) used to convey that plan to senior leaders and to the workforce.Other skills and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:• Design and animate motion graphics.• Develop creative and engaging promotional, short-form video to assist with training of products for customer.• Design and layout of materials for internal communications and business materials.• Create infographics and presentation materials to simplify communication of complex concepts and data• Experience with developing graphics, illustrations, videos, gifs, and other creative materials for web, social, and other digital platforms• Applies critical thinking skills• Demonstrates effective decision-making• Demonstrated strong oral and written communications and interpersonal skills• Listens and discerns important information and data points and conducts independent research to ensure technical understanding of content and purpose• Evaluates competing priorities in a dynamic environment, coordinate with stakeholders, and manage assignments to completion• Possesses keen attention to detail• Working independently and as a part of a team• Understands programmatic and engineering concepts• Works effectively in a dynamic and challenging environment• Demonstrates effective content and data management, leveraging repositories and other tools to file work products for future reference and re-use, as applicable, to execute comprehensive information campaigns across multiple channels, targeting specific user populations and stakeholdersRequired Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field (or equivalent experience) and 6+ years of experience. 4 years of Additional related experience and be considered in lieu of degree.• Ability to fully coordinate project schedules• Ability to assist in the preparation of management plans and reports• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suites, Adobe Suite, Google Docs, Zoom, Switcher Studio; Streaming, Video Editing,etc​Desired Qualifications• Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment• Ability to coordinate with engineers, developers, and top-level managers• Ability to apply critical thinking to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problemshhsnihOriginal Posting Date:2024-11-25While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $61,750.00 - $111,625.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
