ABOUT THE ROLE:
Focusing on Sports and Casino, the Social Media Manager will be at the forefront of our Danish social media strategy, creating market-specific plans, tailoring content for the markets and driving initiatives to meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs).
Ideally you will have experience gained working with a gaming/entertainment brand either client or agency side in planning scalable content for social media and digital channels in compliant markets.
This role requires a resourceful, creative, and passionate person who can harness their direct experience in managing social media channels and digital campaigns.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
● Manage our social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) with laser focus, developing and executing a winning strategy that aligns with our overall marketing goals.
● Create captivating, original, and localised content that brings our brands to life and speaks directly to the Danish gaming audience.
● Build and nurture a thriving online community of players. Engage with followers, respond to comments, foster conversations, and create a welcoming space for our audience.
● Analyse social media data and metrics to track campaign performance, measure ROI, and continuously optimise our strategies for maximum impact in the market.
● Keep your finger on the pulse of the latest social media trends, platform updates, and cultural nuances to ensure our content is always relevant, fresh, and engaging.
● Ensure all social media activities adhere to regulations and industry best practices.
● Collaborating with the international social media team to share best practices, exchange insights, and contribute to LeoVegas' overall social media success.
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
● Native-level fluency in Danish is essential for this role, along with excellent written and spoken English.
● 2+ years of proven experience managing social media for a global brand, agency, or as a sports journalist.
● A deep understanding of the Danish market, including cultural nuances, sports, trends, and online behaviour.
● A knack for creating engaging content that captures attention and drives engagement on social media.
● Experience working with social media management tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Sprout Social) and creative editing software (e.g. Adobe Express).
● A passion for sports (betting) and a genuine interest in the online gaming industry.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a global team
● Experience working with influencers and brand ambassadors.
● Knowledge of Danish gambling regulations.
