Level Access, the leader in digital accessibility, is seeking a dedicated Senior Product Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. We support a growing and innovative Product team, and as a member of our team, you will play a key role in crafting and scaling the team to new heights.
Role Overview
As a Product Operations Manager in our Product Operations team, you come in with a strong competence for operational leadership, focusing on developing, implementing and streamlining product lifecycle and launch processes, improving product-related internal communication and creating effective feedback loops. This is an outstanding opportunity to apply a product approach to solving impactful cross-functional problems. Your work will not only include collaborating closely with a wide variety of teams and departments, and your program management skills will also be applied to own the delivery of software releases and build our Voice of the Customer program.
Responsibilities
- Streamline product processes: Identify, design, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce time-to-market, and ensure high-quality product delivery. Supervise and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Program Management: Be responsible for and manage multiple product initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals. Coordinate resources, set project milestones, and report on progress to ensure successful project execution and appropriate expectation setting.
- Standardize communications: Ensure clear, consistent communication across all cross-functional teams as it relates to key product updates. Manage and coordinate requests from various cross-functional teams, implementing standardized protocols to keep everyone aligned to enhance teamwork and foster cohesion with other teams.
- Strengthen the product feedback loop: Champion the voice of the customer by incorporating customer feedback into product development and improvement processes. Ensure that customer needs and problems are prioritized against company objectives, customer pains and team objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in product operations, product management, research operations, software program management or a related role within the software industry.
- Leading and optimizing software development lifecycle, with a focus on streamlining build-to-release processes, improving project efficiency and achieving operational excellence in software product lifecycle management.
- Consistent record of delivering software projects and programs on time while handling expectations and achieving high stakeholder satisfaction.
- Excellent analytical skills, skilled at using data to drive strategic decisions.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and collaborators.
- Customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer experiences.
Nice to haves
- Previous experience as a product manager
- Expertise in release management in an agile environment
- Experience with organizational change management.
- Expertise in building processes used by cross-functional teams and supervising the impact of these processes.
