Job Description

MedTech Review of Linearity Data-Reporting directly to Supervisor, Technical Data Management, the Data Review Specialist is responsible for daily data management utilizing MSDRx platform supporting customer data revie w of Linearity reports for accuracy. The role requires an individual with a strong clinical laboratory understanding and the ability to work on assigned tasks independently.Clinical Chemistry

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS:

DATA MANAGEMENT

  • Daily management of customer data includes processing, reviewing and approving data reports.
  • Accurately enter data into corresponding data fields and review linear regression reports.
  • Identify and correct data entry errors using appropriate quality control methods.
  • Learn and manage in-house MSDRx® software, data submission log and procedures.
  • With a medical technologist’s background, I review and approve customer data submissions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Requires a minimum of an associate degree in Medical Technology or a scientific discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory environment or related field.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Strong computer skills required with proficiency in all Microsoft Office products, CRM software and ERP systems.
  • Effective organization and planning skills.
  • Strong attention to detail

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Requires strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak fluently and comprehend the English language.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Requires prolonged sitting and working at a computer monitor.  Repetitive motion using a keyboard for long periods of time.  May occasionally be required to lift and move light material weighing up to 10lbs.
