Our client in New Hyde Park is actively seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager or Controller to oversee the company's financial operations. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in Sage Intacct. The ideal candidate will be a motivated Accounting Manager with a minimum of 4 years' accounting experience, exhibiting keen attention to detail and a strong deadline-oriented mindset. Reporting directly to the Assistant Controller, this role presents an excellent opportunity for professional growth.Job Responsibilities:• Contribute to the month-end close process by recording various journal entries and providing insightful suggestions for process improvements.• Manage day-to-day accounting operations.• Conduct monthly reconciliations for cash, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.• Prepare cash flow projections and engage in Ad Hoc reporting.• Handle and assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.Job Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.• Minimum of 6 years of experience.• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and V-Look Ups.If you believe you align with the requirements of this Accounting Manager position and are ready for a new challenge with growth potential, don't hesitate to apply today!
