LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with an organization in Overland Park, KS, and assisting them search for a new HR Business Partner to join their team. This is a new position within the organization and will serve as more of a “Junior” HR Business Partner, supporting a tenured HR Business Partner at the company with various strategic tasks and initiatives. This is a hybrid position (3 days a week in the office and 2 days a week from home). We are searching for an HR professional with at least 5 years’ experience in a Generalist role, with at least 2 of those years being more of a senior level role with a strategic component – partnering with senior leaders, coaching managers, policy development, program creation and initiation, etc., who is ready to grow toward to HRBP track.Responsibilities• Develops productive and trusting relationships that support achievement of business objectives.• Assists the HRBP to consults with management, providing HR guidance when appropriate (e.g., coaching, career development, disciplinary actions).• Works with the HRBP to develop valuable programs that build accountability and foster employee engagement.• Provides metrics and reporting to the HRBP to support analysis of trends and metrics to develop recommendations, programs, and policies.• Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues across a large multi-state organization. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.• Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to daily management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.• Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.• Partners with the Benefits team to oversee active leave and disability management programs and processes.• Works with HRBP to identify training needs for business units and partners in the development of training.Qualifications• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Generalist role, with at least 2 of those years being more of a senior level role with a strategic component.• Bachelor’s degree.• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.• Experience working in a multi-state organization.• Experience working in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with a large employee population.
