LHH is partnering with our client in a search for a Learning and Development Manager in the La Puenta area.
The Learning & Development Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing all aspects of our organization's learning and development programs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training delivery... methods as well as collaborating with leaders with organizational strategic goals.
This role is a Hybrid role.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify training needs and create effective learning solutions.
• Design and develop engaging and interactive learning materials, including eLearning courses, videos, job aids, and instructor-led training.
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops for employees at all levels of the organization.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and make continuous improvements based on feedback and metrics.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in learning and development.
• Manage the learning management system (LMS) and ensure content is up to date and easily accessible.
• Partner with external vendors and consultants as needed to deliver specialized training programs.
• Support the onboarding process by developing and delivering new hire orientation and other onboarding training.
• Coach and mentor subject matter experts and trainers to enhance their facilitation and instructional design skills.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, human resources, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate Learning and Development role, 7+ years overall Human Resources experience.
• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners.
• Knowledge of and experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other training technologies.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in a global or multicultural organization is a plus.
Pay Details: $98,000.00 to $118,000.00 per year
