Staff Accountant - 70k-80k + Bonus

LHH is working with a commercial real estate company that is adding a new Staff Accountant to their team. This company is known to have a great culture and an excellent benefits program. The ideal candidate for this role will be someone with commercial property accounting experience or a public accounting background.Job Responsibilities:• Manage various accounting tasks such as general ledger oversight, financial statement preparation, sub-ledger reconciliations, quarterly re-forecasting, and providing detailed monthly variance explanations.• Compile necessary documentation for annual tax packages.• Execute manual billings, billing adjustments, and refunds, and maintain supplementary ledgers using our accounting system.• Handle Expense Participation for designated properties by entering tenant EP data, preparing pre-bills, conducting annual true-ups, and managing EP budgets and reforecasts per tenant.• Review leases for assigned properties and participate in peer reviews for EP setups.• Support management offices by conducting research and promptly addressing accounting-related inquiries.• Perform additional duties as assigned.Job Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (minimum 18 hours of accounting coursework).• 2-4 years of experience in commercial real estate accounting, public accounting, or equivalent.• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.• Proficiency in Excel at an intermediate level.• Experience with JDE and MRI systems preferred.If you are interested in this opportunity, or any other career opportunities from LHH Recruitment Solutions please send your resume to: Arnand.Gayapershad@LHH.com
