Job Title: Temporary Supply Chain Specialist Location: Hawthorne, NY... Hours: Flexible - 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; includes an hour for lunch Schedule: • Onsite: Tuesday through Thursday • Work from home: Monday and Friday Hourly Rate: $27-29; dependent on experience Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Temporary Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Hawthorne, NY. This position offers flexible hours and a hybrid work schedule, with the opportunity to work onsite three days a week and remotely for two days. The role is estimated to last about six months, with the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with third-party logistics companies to ensure timely and efficient product distribution. • Manage and monitor inventory levels to meet consumer demand and minimize excess stock. • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to maintain optimal supply chain operations. • Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. • Implement strategies to streamline supply chain processes and enhance operational efficiency. • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipping, receiving, or order fulfillment. • Assist in the development and execution of supply chain initiatives to support business goals. Requirements: • Proven experience working with third-party logistics companies. • Knowledge of or experience in the consumer products industry. • Strong initiative and the ability to complete tasks quickly and efficiently. • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Immediate availability to start is required.
