Treasury AnalystWe are seeking an entry level Treasury Analyst to join a dynamic real estate investment firm in Culver City. This role is pivotal in ensuring the precision of payment instructions and managing cash flows. Reporting directly to the Treasury Manager, the position emphasizes meticulous cash transaction handling and fraud prevention.Job Overview: As a Treasury Analyst, you will oversee the entire cash management process. Your duties will include preparing and executing daily wire transfers, verifying payment instructions verbally, and maintaining comprehensive records of all cash transactions. Additionally, you will provide essential support to the treasury team.Key Responsibilities:• Prepare and execute daily wire transfers and book transfers using Treasury Management and online banking platforms.• Perform verbal verification of payment instructions with clients, vendors, or internal stakeholders before processing.• Deposit checks daily through an online remote deposit system.• Generate weekly cash reports.• Assist in the opening and closing of new accounts.• Coordinate with relevant personnel regarding incoming wires, deposits, and checks.• Maintain the company's internal cash account list and wire templates.• Support special projects related to cash management.• Track daily money movement deadlines for the Treasury team.• Communicate with banks and third-party administrators.• Assist with account reconciliations.Requirements:• Keen attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.• Strong verbal and written communication skills.• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.• Proficiency in using communication tools (phone, email) and financial systems.• Familiarity with treasury operations, payment processing, or anti-fraud procedures is advantageous.• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.Preferred Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.• Previous experience in a financial or treasury role, with a preference for real estate experience.• Knowledge of payment systems and regulations (e.g., SWIFT, ACH).The Treasury Accountant role is a direct hire position that pays up to $75K with excellent benefits including hybrid remote work flexibility and lunches for onsite days.
