  • $14.00 Hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

    • Assist EERC Library & Information Services staff with: Scanning, Data entry Other activities based on the unit’s needs and the assistant’s experience. Assist EERC researchers and other patrons using the EERC Library and its materials. This includes: Basic research using electronic resources Retrieving materials Scanning/photocopying and Other library activities - (Essential)

Required Competencies

  • Must be able to work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritize various work
    assignments.
    • Must be detail oriented and have experience with a variety of computer software
    packages and keyboarding.
    • Must have the curiosity to learn new skills.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must have accepted a Federal Work Study award from the Office of student Finance.
    Successful competition of a criminal history background check
    Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the employed academic semester
  • Successful completion of a Standard Criminal History Background Check
  • Must be able to work at least a 2 hour shift between 8:30am and 4:30pm Monday-Friday

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.

  • Experience with electronic library resources and search engines
