Job Summary

Evaluate the initial review of contracting applications and supporting documents (including background reports) to determine if the producer is eligible to contract with OneAmerica. As the producer’s initial point of contact with the organization, the Licensing Associate I communicates/works closely with producers and their back offices to build relationships and ensure OneAmerica has the appropriate documents needed for the producer to sell/solicit OneAmerica products.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conducting credit/criminal/financial background reports on producers that are requesting an appointment with OneAmerica
• Thoroughly review the contracting application and create the producer's record in REPS
• Responding to all licensing inquiries by providing superior customer service skills when communicating via phone and email with our business partners
• Completing daily responsibilities within the designated turnaround time while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Engaging and collaborating with your peers to bring ideas and efficiencies to the department

Required Education and/or Certifications

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent

Recommended Education and/or Certifications

• Associate's Degree or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background

Salary Band: 03A

As a condition of employment, OneAmerica requires that all new hires who receive a job offer on or after April 18, 2022 provide evidence of full or partial vaccination against COVID-19 within three days of accepting an offer letter with OneAmerica and before employment begins. This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, WI, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
